Jesse Don is an HSE and Operations professional specialising in the offshore wind industry. Jesse holds the status safety engineering – Hogere Veiligheidskunde (HVK) and EurOSHM qualification and has represented organisations including Eneco Offshore (Prinses Amaliawindpark – Q7), Shell / Vattenfall (Noordzeewind – Q8), Gemini Wind Park, and TenneT TSO.
Over the last decade Jesse has worked in several roles including HSE manager, Operations & Maintenance Engineer and Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) within the offshore wind industry.
As an experienced and qualified consultant, Mr Millar has been advising energy projects since 2013 after a period of military service. International consultancy assignments have included the roles of HSE Manager and Design Safety Advisor (CDM in the UK).
In addition to working as a consultant to client and projects, he has spent many years focused on business development serving the renewable energy sector.
Jacob Visser is an electrical engineer specializing in the offshore wind industry and holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration. He represented organizations including Global Tech I, Vattenfall, EWE, Gemini Wind Park and Otary.
Over the last years, he was involved as operation and maintenance manager for several offshore substations including the grid. One of the responsibilities was the function as (Lead) Senior Authorized Person (SAP) to ensure the safe operation of a wind farm.
Eelke den Otter
After finishing his Safety and Security studies in 2008, Eelke started a career in HSE risk consultancy serving multiple clients in the energy and maritime sector on a global level.
Since then Eelke has had several QHSE roles as a coordinator and manager in international projects.
As well as being certified as European Occupational Safety and Health Manager (EurOSHM), Eelke also holds a degree as Safety Engineer (HVK) and has achieved his NEBOSH IGC.
Jed Mawson is a freelance HSE professional specialising in the offshore wind industry. Jed holds the NEBOSH diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and has represented organisations including SiemensGamesa, Globaltech1, Gemini Wind Park, Merkur Offshore and EDF-RE.
Over the last decade Jed has implemented certifiable HSE management systems and led HSE departments throughout development, construction and operation of some of the worlds most significant wind parks.
Colin has over 20 years experience in the energy sector, manufacturing, process industry, onshore and marine construction projects, responsible for delivering in the disciplines the of Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment.
Colin holds SMSTS, NEBOSH Diploma & Certificate in addition to Lead auditor certification for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and ISM.
Colin has fulfilled QHSSE roles ranging from Inspector, Auditor, Trainer, Adviser, Coordinator and Manager for subcontractor, contractor, and client.
Andy is an UK qualified Master Mariner, he has 20 years experience in Maritime Operations. Initially with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, later moving to Oil & Gas and finally into the renewables sector. As a Senior Officer on board industry leading Wind turbine installation vessels, Andy has worked on some of the largest offshore wind construction projects in Europe.
A qualified dynamic positioning operator, demonstrated Jacking Operator and experienced Marine Co-Ordinator, Andy has a wealth of offshore experience and has also worked onshore as both Port Captain & Project Manager. Since becoming freelance in 2018, Andy has focussed his high standards towards Client support as both an Offshore Representative and Marine Consultant.
Jeff is a highly experienced health and safety professional with 20 years experience in all things offshore. Starting his career in onshore oil and gas construction whilst working for one of Europe’s leading specialist coating companies, he quickly found his passion in health and safety and never looked back.
Working alongside some of the world’s largest organisations the ever increasing focus on safety exposed Jeff to some of the highest standards expected in onshore/offshore construction. Moving forward 10 years the renewable sector came calling and using the transferable skills from oil and gas the move over was a smooth transition.
Working at all levels throughout the safety role, from Advisor, Lead Advisor, HSE Manager and client HSE Engineer Jeff has gained invaluable experience in the safe execution of offshore wind farms across Europe.
